This gorgeous bridal party is part of Achilles & Fam’s wedding! Achilles and Fam were married in a beautiful winter afternoon, surrounded by close friends and family in an outdoor ceremony overlooking the wharf. Achilles worked for Harley-Davidson, so we thought we’d braced ourselves for a Harley-theme for the wedding. But to our disappointment, no Harleys were in sight (except for the sunglasses!)
Check out the photos:
a very vintage bridal shoes

The boys had plenty of time to get ready..they decided to wind down and had a few drinks before they get dressed

Absolutely love this portrait of the groom

Kick-arse photo

Fam had an accident with her wedding gown. Her gown was stained with lipgloss (didn’t know how that happened!). It was almost time for the wedding ceremony and there was last-minute dash to the dry-cleaner to fix the dress. Apparently, Vodafone saved the day! (they called Vodafone to find the nearest dry-cleaner from the hotel)…yey!!
Here is the picture of her sister rushed into the hotel to deliver the fixed dress.

So..second time wearing her gown (we think it was a relieved smile on Fam’s face)

Looking at his bride..we think Achilles looks so much like Andy Garcia!

Married!

Boys with their cigars..cool

Keep tune with their cool video highlight (yupe, you hear it right… we have a videography team now).
Fam & Achilles, have fun in Fiji..we had a great time capturing your wedding!
As the title says, I have officially become an iPhone owner.
For many friends who know me, I am not a big fan of following trends. I rather use conventional stuffs but still deliver what I want.
Initially, one of the reasons I got iphone was simply because my mobile phone contract was due for a renewal. iphone has a comprehensive web feature which I thought I might need. Well, why not?
Once I played around with the iphone, I am so impressed with the intuitive interface and also some other good features. Even though the camera feature lacks the zoom capability, but the quality is actually much better than I expected.
I only contrasted a bit for this picture.

Yes, I know iphone is still having a problem in reception. The good thing is I don’t receive too many phone calls nowadays. So Ilona definitely can’t have this one yet ![]()

Everytime we’re about to start our blog entry, we always said to each other we had to get used to writing a simple entry. Not only it consumes so much of our time, but we always thought a long blog entry can bore our blog readers. But the truth is to reduce the images to less than 20 per entry is too darn hard. So, if you want to see more, let us know and don’t forget to comment!

Getting prepped up

We love this image of the couple in the limo

And this one of a very fun and happy bridal party!

Troy and Paul from Encore Media in action..these blokes were also fun to shoot together with!

They had their wedding reception at Crystal Palace in the Luna Park..we sneaked out during pre-drinks to have a few shots

Raining or not, strangely there’s always a puddle in front of Luna Park gates

The grand entrance

The guests were certainly loved to party. The dancings were non-stop right from the beginning..!

Btw, they got married in one of the most popular day of the year (888). It’s the same day as the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony. They had the televisions in the room playing the live ceremony

Lucky for them, they also get something back from their tax payment as their wedding gift

They’re also lucky to have friends who sang for them in their wedding day.

Thanks to Leena (the groom’s sister) that we got to shoot this couple’s wedding. She attended the wedding that we shot last September and got our details from there.

Tommy and Charmaine..what can we say..it was a wonderful day and night..you two are fun to hang around with all day long, and we’re honoured to be part of your big day. See you when you get back from your honeymoon!

Rex & Lesley have been together for a long time (i think it’s been 8 yrs), so as you can see from the pictures, they’re as comfortable with each other as any other couple should be after being together that long! They met in Uni while doing the same course…so I guess they have a lot in common to talk about
They chose Watson’s Bay for their e-session..and it was such a nice afternoon down at the beach..we had some great shots of the couple:

Just a bit of fun…

Always happy to see the couple we shot are having fun on their owns!

I love the following two shots (I’m a total sucker for romantic pose!!) ^_^

See you next month guys!

It’s now William & Fiona’s turn! Their wedding was the first for both sides of the family, so it was much anticipated. In this particular wedding, we were hired purely as a second (well, perhaps third as so many photographers out there) shooters, and we love being able to step back and capture all the emotions and actions happening on the day.
They were initially planning to have their wedding on July 20th..the same day of our wedding…..ha!..talking about coincidence. But the date was then moved one week earlier
FYI, William and Fiona reside in the states and flew to Jakarta to formally have their marriage reception. Or, as some people put it… to please their parents.
First stop, the groom’s preparation

Looking good… it was a proud and happy moment for the groom’s parents as William hadn’t been back in his hometown for the last 7 years!..So he’s back for a good cause =P

Here comes the bride!

Who looks prettier ? You or me ?

We were introduced to William & Fiona as soon as Farida knew that we would fly to Jakarta at the same time as her sis got married. Btw, I forgot to mention, their family owns an established and well-known Professional Photo Lab in Jakarta. Their works include official printing for most of Indonesian President and higher rank in military …impressive work!

Groom picking up the bride.

They not only own the photo lab, they also have rooms for professional photo studio which they used for their first meeting.

The main photographers were all close friends of the bride’s father and Fiona has known them since she was little..they’re all veterans in the industry and we have as much respect and feel privileged to be able to work alongside them.

Fiona’s father and Farida is the official photographer of Indonesia’s presidents and ministers as evident on the wall here

Farida taking some pics of her sis and brother-in-law

This is when they eat rice noodle as part of the tradition - this image is such a crack-up..

Ops, I caught Wiki bludging at work.

They planned to have a quick outdoor photo session. But they decided not to as they couldn’t stand the heat (yupe it was really hot outside). We were also given a quick 1/2 hour to do location shoot..we just used the facilities in the studio! It’s very rare that we got a chance to shoot in an indoor studio..

A touching moment with the bride’s 90-years-old grandmother

The formal family group photo.

Greeting the guests…

I wanna look as beautiful as the bride!

Check this out.. me in action!

Last but not least, ice-sculpture in the making..voila!

William & Fiona..thank you for giving us a chance to be part of your celebration..it’s been so great knowing you guys…and we had awesome time both in our e-session and in the wedding…keep in touch!
